Curtis Bernhardt (15 Nisan 1899 - 22 Şubat 1981), Kurt Bernhardt adı altında Almanya'nın Worms kentinde doğan bir Alman film yönetmeniydi.
Almanya'da oyunculuk eğitimi aldı ve 1924'te Nameless Heroes ile yönetmenliğe başlamadan önce sahneye çıktı. Diğer filmler arasında A Stolen Life (1946) ve Sirocco (1951) sayılabilir.
Bernhardt, 1925'ten 1933'e kadar Almanya'da filmler çekti ve Yahudi olduğu için onu kısa bir süre tutukladıkları için kaçmak zorunda kaldı [1]. Bernhardt, 1940'ta Warner Brothers için çalışmak üzere Hollywood'a geçmeden önce Fransa ve İngiltere'de filmler yönetti. Polly Bergen ve Fred Macmurray'ın başrollerini paylaştığı ülkenin ilk kadın CEO'su hakkında son Hollywood filmi Kisses for My President (1964) 'i üretti ve yönetti.
