Haunting the Chapel on yhdysvaltalaisen metalliyhtye Slayerin julkaisema EP vuodelta 1984. EP on julkaistu sekä Metal Blade Recordsin ja Enigma Recordsin levymerkillä. EP:tä edeltänyt Slayerin debyyttialbumi Show No Mercy löi itsensä läpi Metal Bladella, jonka seurauksena uusi EP haluttiin saada nopeasti julkaistua.

Yhtyeen rumpali Dave Lombardo sai tuplabasari-rummutukseensa opastusta Gene Hoglanilta, joka nuoresta iästään huolimatta oli jo melkoisen taitava rumpali.[1] Hoglan liittyi myöhemmin Dark Angel -nimiseen yhtyeeseen.
