Shahab District (Persian: بخش شهاب) is in Qeshm County, Hormozgan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Suza.[3]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 30,112 in 6,319 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 33,538 people in 7,946 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 38,115 inhabitants in 9,902 households.[2]
In May 2017, Larak Rural District was transferred from Shahab District to the Central District.[6] In November 2017, Dulab Rural District and Salakh Rural District were separated from Shahab District in the establishment of Hara District.[7]
