Production

The script by Stuart Benson and Paul Davidson was developed with Karol Griffiths and optioned by Silver Reel in 2021.[2] The film is produced for Sky by Claudia Bluemhuber for Silver Reel and Matt Williams for Future Artists Entertainment. It is directed by Phil Hawkins.[3]

Principal photography took place in England the summer of 2023.[4] Filming locations include Carr Mill Dam,[5]town hall in Lancaster and a farmers field in wigan.

Houses used for interior filming were at the cul-de-sac in Cuddington, Cheshire, while woodland and green were used for exteriors on the same street. A drive was used to hold a light by a crane for the scene when characters Nick and Yun Ho walk into the forest. Houses were used as green rooms and filming. On one evening, heavy rainfall halted production for 2 hours. Film equipment was protected under the tree on the green after each days work. Equipment that didn't go back to base was stored in the gardens of some of the houses. The local Northwich news paper reported information incorrectly.
