Osoj (Macedonian: Осој) is a village in the municipality of Kičevo, North Macedonia.

Demographics

According to the 1942 Albanian census, Osoj was inhabited by a total of 229 Bulgarians and 53 Serbophone Orthodox Albanians.[1]

According to the 2002 census, the village had a total of 593 inhabitants.[2] Ethnic groups in the village include:[2]

  • Macedonians – 397
  • Romani – 169
  • Albanians – 67
  • Serbs – 2
  • Others – 28

As of the 2021 census, Osoj had 410 residents with the following ethnic composition:[3]

  • Macedonians 142
  • Albanians 27
  • Roma 199
  • Others 1
