Dying for Sex is an upcoming comedy drama miniseries for FX, starring Michelle Williams and based on the podcast series of the same name by Nikki Boyer.
Premise
A woman diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer ends her 15 year marriage in order to explore herself and her sexuality before her death.

Production
It was announced in November 2023 that Michelle Williams was cast to star in the series, which Liz Meriwether and Kim Rosenstock would showrun.[1] In January 2024, Jenny Slate would join the cast.[2] Rob Delaney, David Rasche, Esco Jouléy, Jay Duplass, Kelvin Yu and Sissy Spacek would be added in recurring roles in April.[3][4][5]
Filming on the series began in March 2024 in New York City.[6]
