Dąbrówka [dɔmˈbrufka] is a village in Wołomin County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Dąbrówka.^[1] It lies approximately 16 kilometres (10 mi) north of Wołomin and 36 km (22 mi) north-east of Warsaw.

History

Dąbrówka has a rich history that dates back to the early medieval period. The village is first mentioned in historical records from the 15th century, though it is likely that the area was settled much earlier.
