Alenis Vargas (born 4 December 2003) is a Honduran footballer who plays as a striker for Sporting KC.

Early life

Vargas grew up in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.^[1] He joined the youth academy of Honduran side Olimpia at the age of 17.^[2]

Club career

Vargas started his career with Honduran side Fútbol Consultants. In 2023, he signed for American side Sporting KC.^[3] On 2 February 2024, he debuted for the club during a 1–1 draw with Houston Dynamo.

International career

Vargas was first called up to the Honduras national football team for 2024 Copa América qualifying play-offs.^[4]

Style of play

Vargas mainly operates as a striker. He is known for his strength.^[5]
