The 1922–23 Western Kentucky State Normal men's basketball team represented Western Kentucky State Normal School and Teachers College during the 1922-23 NCAA basketball season. The team was led by future Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame coach Edgar Diddle and leading scorer W. B. Owen.[1] This was the first year of Diddle's 42-year tenure at Western Kentucky and it was the best season in the program's short history.[2]
